The Fremont Opera presents Noye’s Fludde (or Noah’s Flood), a delightful telling of the story of Noah and his ark. Written by Benjamin Britten as a “community opera”, the production will be fully staged with scenery, costumes and a large cast. Ragazzi’s boys will sing solo and choral parts, collaborating with Susan McMane’s Young Women’s Choral Project and Benjamin Simon’s Palo Alto Chamber Orchestra to tell the story. Get ready for the ark to rise up on stage, the procession of the animals and the ancient world’s original mega-storm! Conducted by Fremont Opera’s David Sloss and Directed by Jonathon Field.
