Concert Group, Choral Scholars, and Young Men’s Ensemble were honored to perform and collaborate with Australian composers and choirs during their July tour to Canberra, Melbourne, and Sydney.

Composer Stephen Leek wrote, “It was so good to see so many boys and young men enjoying the ‘Art of Choral Singing’ and doing it so well…Such a robust and joyous sound and yet contrasted with tender, sensitive and lyric colours throughout the repertoire – truly a lesson in the diversity of tonal and colour control.”

Composer Todd McNeal commended Ragazzi for Concert Group’s rendition of his piece, “Whenever the Wind is High.” McNeal remarked, “It was a really excellent performance with a great sense of the drama of the piece and very careful attention to detail throughout – I really could not ask for more!”
