Vance George conducts boys and girls choruses
Vance George, the esteemed choral director emeritus of the San Francisco Symphony Chorus, conducts the combined forces of the Ragazzi Boys Chorus and the Young Women’s Chorus of San Francisco Mar 22 at the First United Methodist Church in Palo Alto and Mar 23 at Calvary Presbyterian Church in San Francisco in a program called “Young Women, Young Men: Together We Sing.” Among other things, they’re singing Gabriel Fauré’s “Cantique de Jean Racine” and Leonard Bernstein’s “Make Our Garden Grow” and “Somewhere.”
Ragazzi thanks Arts and Ends columnist Jesse Hamlin for his coverage, which appeared in The San Francisco Chronicle and SFGate.
