Ragazzi named one of the “Best Choirs on the Peninsula”

As reported by CBS, Ragazzi is one of the Best Choirs on the Peninsula. We are very honored to be recognized as a top choir in the Bay Area, and have over 25 years of experience to share with boys who join the chorus. Ragazzi is a great place to grow up– as a boy and as a musician; we welcome 7-10 year old boys who want to try the singing life.
Over Ragazzi’s 25-year-plus history there are hundreds of local Bay Area boys who have gone through Ragazzi’s choral program. Some boys try the program for just a few years, but the majority truly grow up in Ragazzi, singing, learning, and performing from early elementary through high school.
Ragazzi holds auditions three times a year: May, summer and January. Every January, boys from 7–10 can test-drive the chorus experience at our free half-day SingFest minicamp. Low-key, no-obligation auditions are integrated into SingFest. No previous singing experience isneeded. Boys offered Ragazzi membership after SingFest start rehearsing in January; those who audition May–September start rehearsing in September.
Beginning groups meet once a week for choral singing and theory instruction. Ragazzi offers a complete music education that progresses through a proven, award-winning performance-based educational program. Ragazzi performs its own concert series, sings the National Anthem at a spring SF Giants game, tours domestically and internationally, and collaborates with other prestigious Bay Area arts organizations.
