Direct from New York’s Lincoln Center engagement, the complete Lord of the Rings film trilogy will be presented live, with Symphony Silicon Valley. Ragazzi Boys Chorus sings the children’s choral part for The Fellowship of the Rings and are joined by Symphony Silicon Valley Chorale. Cantbile Youth Singers perform for films two and three of the trilogy. This is the first time an American orchestra has performed these epic works. Musicians will play live beneath a giant 48 foot screen presented in HD; the Academy Award-winning scores by Howard Shore will be performed by 250 musicians, on stage, including symphony orchestra, chorus and soloists.
